Do I have to have acupuncture to do your programs?

Absolutely not.  Whereas acupuncture has been shown to be very helpful because of its ability to help regulate hormones that mediate metabolism, hunger and eating behavior (see this article on Dr. Oz's website), it is by no means required.  We actually have some effective acupressure protocals that we use with our patients who do not want to use needles.

Do I eat regular food while on your programs?

Yes.  It is clearly most healthy to eat a diet based on eating "real food".  Our food plans are focused around the most healthy stuff available:  plenty of fruits, vegetable, lean clean proteins, and some whole grains.  Premade frozen, boxed, and processed meals sold by many diet companies are good for controlling portions, but are of inferior quality to meals made from whole foods.

Does insurance cover your programs?

Some insurance does, but it varies plan to plan, company to company. We would be happy to check your insurance for you when you come in for your initial evaluation.

How soon will I see results?

You will very likely see significant results within the first three weeks.  Of course every patient is different, and has different goals.  Our patients generally lose between 5-20 pounds during their first 3 weeks (we recently analyzed our last 70 patients, and the average weight loss in 3 weeks was over 13lbs).  The testimonials on our site are a good representation of what you can expect.

Is your program safe?

Is your program safe?

Yes.  Not only is our program safe but we are confident it is one of the most comprehensive programs out there.  Our program is based on the premise of getting your body to function at optimal levels.  This includes improvements in digestive functions, sleep, stress response and many other areas.  As you can see, this is not just about weight, it’s about health.

In regards to safety, we have only seen patients get healthier.  We have had patients come off heart medications, diabetes medications, pre-diabetes medications and they report improvement in their blood markers as it relates to cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose tolerance etc.
